Prayer Confessions To Guard Your Thought Life
“Father, in the Name of Jesus, I take authority over my thought life and I bind my mind to the mind of Christ, and my will to the will of God. Though I walk in the flesh, I am not engaging in warfare according to the flesh, for the weapons of my warfare are not of flesh and blood, but they are mighty before God for the destruction of strongholds.
I refute arguments and worldly reasonings and every proud and lofty thing that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and I take every thought and purpose captive to the obedience of Christ. I will bless the Lord with every thought and purpose in life, and I declare that my mind will not wander out of the presence of God – Almighty.
My life will glorify the Lord in all that I do, spirit – soul – and body. I take no account of the evil done to me and I will pay no attention to a suffered wrong, for it holds no place in my thought life. I am ever ready to believe the best of every person set before me.
I purposely set my mind, and keep it set on what is above – the higher things – and not on the things that are here on the earth. Whatever is true, whatever is worthy of reverence and is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is kind and gracious, if there is any virtue and excellence, if there is anything worthy of praise, I will fix my mind on them.
I declare that I have the mind of Christ and that I hold the thoughts of His heart. I declare that by the Power of the Holy Spirit, I will practice what I have learned and received and have heard and have seen in Christ Jesus and model my life on it, for the God of all peace will be with me. In Jesus’ Name I pray, Amen.”
